•Forget everything you think you know about literature & reading. Set aside likes and dislikes. Either way, you can get something out of it. •Read the material with an open mind & think about it. •Then. Let’s talk. Ask Questions. Have conversation. •Finally, respect the material and respect each other. Most groups & classes are made up of a variety of people & personalities – successful groups are those whose members respect each other and each other’s differences.

I think that Grace Poole knows a little more than everything thinks about Mr.Rochester and maybe it is really bad. like with his work and why he is always gone. That could also be why his vistor came and he was freaking out? maybe he owes ppl things.....?!!
Mr. Rochester is a very prominent man and a wealthy one. In the setting they are in it is not acceptable to fall in love with those below your social class or those you employee. He knows he is expected to take a wife therefore he shows feelings towards Blanche in efforts to give everyone that idea. I also think he was not sure of his feelings for Jane immediately, but with time it became clear.
I think that Mr.Rochester makes it appear that he like Blanche because his customs tell him that he should love Blanche, so he is having trouble dealing with his real fealings. The feelings that he loves Jane
I think that Mr. Rochester realizes that he's in love with Jane while he's "courting" Blance Ingram. Then decides to use Blanche to get Jane jealous and have her realize that she loves him too, even though she already does and he doesnt really know that.
I think Mr Rochester doesnt really like Blanche, but thinks shes the woman he is supposed to marry and while seeing her makes him realize that hes in love with Jane.
It appears early on in the reading that he feels he needs to marry her, because as far as their status in society they belong together. He is a wealthy man, and clearly money is important to her, she looks down on people who have less than she. But obviously as we get farther in the reading we see the real reason he puts on this act...
I think Mr. Rochester is in love with Jane, but something troubles him. He has a hard time trusting people and he wants to find out what the real story is, and he has some very creative ways of investigation.
i think that he is testing Jane to see if she is in love with him. He wants to know if he should pursue his intrests.
